Royal School in Transylvania is the newest international school from Cluj-Napoca, which follows the National Curriculum of England, is a member of COBIS (Council of British International Schools), is  accredited by the Ministry of Education and is an all-through Cambridge Assessment International Education school (formerly CIE).

We are looking for a qualified and talented Teacher of Computer Science to teach across the age and ability range to IGCSE from April 2018.  There is also potential for growth of your subject within the school. You will be working with and supported by an experienced team of strong teachers and leaders.  The ability to teach a second Enterprise subject (Economics, Information Technology or Business Studies) would be an advantage.

We welcome applications from newly qualified or experienced teachers. As an NQT or Beginner Teacher at Royal School, you will be supported by experienced colleagues on a range of issues relating to planning, teaching and assessing with a dedicated mentor and a skills development programme that will provide you with the experience required to be a successful practitioner in education.

If the answer to this is “Yes” to all of the above, then we are looking for a Part-Time Teacher of Computer Science to join our vibrant team and help mould the future of education in Cluj, Romania and Eastern Europe.

 

Role Requirements

 

  • Complete university degree – IT based at Bed/BSc;
  • Post Graduate Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE);
  • Ability to deliver a minimum of ten hours’ worth of lessons over a two day period, weekly;
  • Very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level) and
  • Applications from NQT/experienced practitioners welcome.

  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to work to deadlines;
