Royal School in Transylvania reaches 100 pupils milestone.
Royal School in Transylvania is celebrating after this week welcoming over 100 pupils for the first time since it was formed in 2015. The school was officially opened at a ceremony by His Royal Highness, Prince Radu and caters for students wishing to receive a British-style education through the Cambridge curriculum. A registered member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and accredited by both Cambridge Assessment International Education for primary and secondary education and ARACIP, Royal School offers education from the ages of 4 to 18 years old.
“This is an important milestone for Royal School and we are delighted that so many parents have entrusted us with their children’s education” said Brendan Clarke-Smith, Head of School. “Having officially opened our Secondary department during the last academic year to build on the superb work of our Primary team, we are now delighted to be offering pupils the chance to study for their Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level qualifications”.
President of the School For Europe Foundation and Chair of the Board of Governors at Royal School, Mrs. Erika Hristea, added “This represents the growing reputation of Royal School within our community and also emphasises the value of small class sizes and differentiated learning, focusing on the real needs of each student. The British educational system and the Cambridge qualifications we offer are recognised throughout the world for their quality and rigor and we are delighted to be able to exclusively provide this in the region. We are committed to continuing our growth in a healthy manner, whilst retaining the close and very friendly, happy atmosphere all of us feel in this wonderful environment, helping pupils to enjoy their time here”.
